Say no to Rap music is the rule in my car when I have the kids with me. Eventhough I like it there is no way I would let my kids listen to it. There is too much vulgar language and cursing. I mostly listen to pop music now and kiddie music like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. How has the music you play in your car changed since you had kids?
Ya know, I find myself NOT listening to music near as much in the car. : / I never really thought about it. I'll have to change that. I found you on MBC, glad to be a new follower.

Hi Jaye,
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower, please follow me back at sugarplumsandlollipops.blogspot.com
Since having my daughter I find myself listening to a lot of Disney stars. Selena Gomez is one that gets played a lot. When I'm alone though and on a long drive to work I find myself playing music that I can sing to. I love Kings of Leon, I once got caught belting out "Sex on Fire" the person in the car next to me was looking at me like I was crazy. heehee
ReplyDeleteWhen my son (now 18) was little, I found myself switching to country music. It wasn't just the music, it was the DJ's on the radio stations. With my girls (now three and one), we listen to CD's, my "fingy" (what Mad calls my MP3 player) or NPR. The occasional pop or country station makes its way in to the rotation, too, but for now alternative/punk is out.
